Applying for Beckfoot Oakbank Sixth Form
Our Sixth Form Open evening coincides with our year 11 parents evening which takes place in November. This is a great opportunity for you to get a feel for our Sixth Form, meet our incredible teachers, and talk to our expert Sixth Form team. Current students will also be available to talk to about the subjects they are studying. The application deadline is two weeks after the open evening, after which all students will be invited to attend an interview in January with a member of the Sixth Form team. In February, students will have the opportunity to sample some Sixth Form lessons on our Sixth Form Taster Day to give them a real idea about what studying in Sixth Form is all about.
External applicants can request an application form by emailing Mrs Ellis- [email protected]. Applications must be received by the published deadline. References will be requested from the applicant’s current school. Once this has been received, applicants will be invited to visit the school, meet with the Sixth Form team and discuss their application.
All students must complete their enrolment on GCSE results day in August. External applicants must bring with them their GCSE results and a form of ID (birth certificate or passport).
