Supporting you for the future
Beckfoot Oakbank provides comprehensive support for our Sixth Form students on their journey applying for university, apprenticeships or future employment. Whatever you choose to do, we will ensure you are well-prepared for your next steps.
In Year 12 students are introduced to Unifrog, an online platform that allows students to explore university courses, careers and apprenticeships, allowing them to make an informed choice about their future.
As students approach the UCAS application process, they will receive tailored guidance from both their subject teachers and tutors to write a standout personal statement and complete their application forms. For those considering alternative pathways, such as apprenticeships, Beckfoot Oakbank run bespoke apprenticeship sessions to support students in their applications and securing opportunities.
Our tailored approach to each students experience ensures that every student has the tools and support they need to achieve their aspirations, whether they’re heading to university or pursuing a career.
