A Level Biology

Biology is a fantastic choice for students hoping to pursue a career in the science sector and for those who are fascinated by the living world. Topics are wide-ranging and develop your understanding and appreciation of the diversity of living organisms, from simple viruses to more complex animals and plants.

Assessment is in the form of three written exams at the end of Year 13, each lasting two hours. Students will also work towards an internally assessed practical endorsement in Biology.

You will also attend a coastal field trip to develop your sampling techniques.
